Work Experience & skills
Here are some examples of my past work.
I have experience working within the journalism field from interviewing experts to writing movie reviews and recipes to creating a magazine and a website from scratch.
I also have experience working in the PR field from copywriting to liaising with journalists, promoting events, organising press releases and newsletters.
I also worked as an SMM and have skills that extend into the photography and videography fields.

Magazine Journalism

Worked alongside a group of like-minded individuals to create a sports and nutrition magazine and website.

Created the website from scratch, aided with the making of the magazine itself in Adobe InDesign, interviewed a number of individuals and experts for investigative pieces, profiles, and shorts.

Managed our social media pages.

Relentless

Worked alongside a group of friends on a sustainable and gender-non-conforming fashion documentary and film.

Managed our social media pages (created TikToks/Reels, promotional photos, promotional campaigns leading up to our launch date, sneak peeks, and educational posts), contacted journalists for collaboration/shout-outs interviewed PETA UK PR representative on what sustainable fashion of the future is.

Participated in live ZOOM Q&A session on the day of our film's launch.

Newsdays
Worked a number of roles on a number of Newsday projects in a fast-paced newsroom environment with a group of coursemates including:

Live Blog (social media manager)

30-minute radio news program (reporter; pitched a story to our editor, collected on-the-day interviews, edited a 2-minute radio package all prior to the 2.00 pm deadline)

30-minute TV news program (editor; edited the live broadcast of a 30-minute TV news program for City News, commissioned stories, organised the running order, overlooked and managed all newsroom teams)

Podcast (editor/host; worked on the production of two different podcasts, one as the presenter, the other as the editor).

Social Media Management

Worked as a social media manager on a number of projects including Feed Forward and Relentless.

Worked as the Communications Manager for my university's radio station; promoted the station and our podcasts via social media.

Interned at a small start-up company that specialized in SMM. Looked after several client accounts, organised social media strategies, collected account statistics, followed trends and came up with new marketing plans. ​

Photography & Videography

Photojournalism experience.

Shooting with a DSLR camera portraits, candids, sports events, landscapes.

Experience photographing big live events like protests (went to shoot the Fridays for Future London protests in 2019).

Assisted photographers with professional studio photoshoots by setting up lighting, props, directing models on how to pose and what to wear and by photographing.
